Rules

  • Any live cell with less than two live neighbors dies (underpopulation)
  • Any live cell with two or three neighbors continues living
  • Any live cell with more than three neighbors lives (overpopulation)
  • Any empty cell with three live neighbors becomes alive (reproduction)

Additional Notes

  • Simulation will work in Firefox and Chrome
  • Set Width and Height to integers, recommended between 10 to 30; 20 is an optimal value performance-wise
  • Simulation must be paused and replayed in order for changes in the Speed to occur
