THROUGH THE GARDEN GATE

There is a wooden gate in front of you that you have never seen before.
Go through the door
You say please before you open the latch and go through, walk down the path, and see a red painted door.
Next
There is a knocker that is a
red painted imp
and looks like it bites.
Don't touch it. Enter door
Touch the knocker
You walk through the house. There are creatures there telling you that they are hungry, dirty, and hurt.
Feed, clean, & calm them
Ignore the creatures
The knocker bit you.
Touch it again
Go through the door
You show compassion and help the creatures, you make it out of the house.
Next
From the back garden, you can see the wild wood. You also see a deep well that leads somewhere.
Next
You can turn back, continue your path, and go to the wild wood, or go to the well.
Go to the winter's realm
Turn back
Continue on the path
You show no compassion and end up wandering the house forever down the endless halls.
Restart
You turn back. Nothing is here for you, but you are content with your decision.
Next
You can build a life here now and be happy.

In the wood, the trees are old, and eyes peer from the undergrowth.
Next
Beneath a twisted old oak sits an old woman. She asks for your assistance.

You lend the old woman your help. She then points the way to the castle with two princesses inside.

You come out of th ecastle in the morning refreshed and groomed. You walk on.
Next
In a clearing, there are twelve monks around a fire exchanging tales. They call and smile to you.
Ignore them and continue
Smile back and converse
You end up poisoned by the wine, as the pretty face of the youngest princess smiles down at you.
Restart
You ignore them and walk on. That night, you sleep
hungry
.
The next morning...
You are polite, and the twelve monks grant you some of their food. That night, you sleep on a
full
stomach.
The next morning...
You come upon wolves.
Trust them
Don't trust them
You
trust
them but do not tell them where you are going. The wolves help you and soon you find a river.
Next
A ferryman offers to take you across. He has a dilemma though and wishes to leave his position soon.
Next
You know the solution is, "if he hands his oar to his passenger, he will be free to leave the boat."
Tell him while on the boat
Tell him at the other side
Don't tell him
You
don't trust
them and after many nights of weariness and exhaustion, you come upon a river.
Next
A ferryman offers to take you across. He has a dillemma though and wishes to leave his position soon.

The ferryman thanks you, shoves the oar into your hands, and jumps off of the boat, leaving you to ferry.

You tell him and he is
grateful

Remember: that giants sleep too soundly; that witches are often betrayed by their appetites...

Dragons have one soft spot, somewhere, always; hearts can be well-hidden, you can betray them with your tongue.
